Preparing for a Hybrid Future
This year’s theme, Preparing for a Hybrid Future, invites participants to explore ways and take intentional steps towards the future of student engagement and success in higher education. We envision the word Hybrid to represent both learning experiences which meld online and in person activities, and the impact on many tasks where human intelligence could be augmented by use of machine intelligence.

Relevance, Reflection, & Relationships
Whether we are ourselves in the classroom or supporting the success of those actively engaged in teaching and learning, we collectively lead students to make connections and identify the value of what they are learning, such as the skills and competencies to support their journey beyond the classroom. This theme challenges you to align educational content and activities with building community, self-efficacy, and self-awareness.

Looking Within & Looking Beyond
It's important to ask: Who are our learners? Armed with this knowledge, we can design learning environments, within the traditional classroom, online, and in other campus spaces, that genuinely incorporate the needs of our learners. Looking within, we seek to investigate our classrooms, course design, and delivery to explore intentional instructional practices and connect with our students.

Building Resilience and Promoting Equity
Prolonged pandemic instruction has deeply affected higher education, exposing ongoing equity gaps and leading to a rise in stress and exhaustion for students and educators, alike. How can we be exclusive to taking care of ourselves, while also being inclusive in taking care of our students?

Innovations in Learning: Creative Solutions for Challenging Times
Teaching during the pandemic presented a dynamic set of obstacles, forcing us to rethink our instructional practices to design inventive, yet practical and accessible, solutions.
